Just some notes: It was a great weekend for hardcore boxing fans that don't have much of a real, typical life. Francisco Rodriguez Jr.-Katsunari Takayama, Sadam Ali-Jeremy Bryan, Czar Glazkov-Derric Rossy, Monty Meza Clay-Alan Herrera, Luis Alberto Cervantes-Zachary Ochoa, and Samuel Vazquez-James Stevenson were all fantastic fights that, unfortunately, were marred with some controversy in one way or another. The scorecards were way too wide in the Rodriguez-Takayama fight, 98-92 from Pierre Benoist from the Glazkov-Rossy fight, you know, what can you say what hasn't been said before? Cervantes-Ochoa....luckily Peterson won in one round that way we could actually see the fight and see the daylight robbery that happened. I don't know, all in all, we had some really great fights, unfortunately, getting overlooked because of that mainstream card on that happened on Showtime...but, at the same time unfortunately, there was controversy with those fights. Basically, the good and bad about boxing. It's that same old story: The fighting is great, but the politics suck.
Shafikov UD Hernandez KO Figueroa UD Dirrell TKO Porter SD I think the porter fight is a good, close fight. Him losing wont surprise me.
