No more good old days of elbowing suckers in the kisser in midair while posting up in the paint in the NBA.

No more "Harry Greb special" aka the strategic thumb gouge.

There was a time men could tinkle competitively with no means of regulation beyond the yardstick. :bart

Mendez-Barthelemy ruled a no contest, Mendez is back to being a champion . This means one less loss or one less win to everyone who made a pick on that fight , right?

 

Source? No offense, but last I heard they were going to reinstate Mendez and set up a rematch but leave the result on both their records...


...and does it actually change anything for the IBF to retroactively consider it a No Contest, if the Minnesota Boxing Commission fail to follow their finding? Which influences the official record? The commission, right?

Anyway, the article has answered my question. It was the MBC agreeing with the IBF ruling and making it official. :good

So bottom line it will go down in posterity as being a ND. (or NC, which is the same thing )
