Somebody called? :blood The allegations aren't true, and my medication is properly balanced out at the moment. Don't believe what anyone says, certainly not when they're from Klinchenberg.

By the way, if anyone is bothered to know, Zhong will be giving up about 5" to Novoa on Wednesday. Zhong is listed on Boxrec at 5' even but has been reported elsewhere as 4'10.5", which seems more likely. Novoa meanwhile has no stats published anywhere but a few minutes' research yielded these findings: Alberto Rossel is a confirmed 5'2". His opponent Jose Alfredo Zuniga, whose challenge for Rossel's interim WBA light flyweight title can be found on YT, looks to have about one inch on Rossel. Certainly not a lot more, but Rossel is obviously shorter. Zuniga in turn is roughly an inch shorter than Jose Argumedo, judging from pictures of them side-by-side at their weigh-in. There is footage of Argumedo vs. Novoa online in which yet again there is a 1" advantage for Argumedo. You can also close the loop a bit earlier and confirm those eyeballed measurements from looking at the video of Zuniga vs. Novoa, where they are clearly of identical height. (separated by centimeters if anything, no more than fractions of an inch...) So 5'3" or maybe five-three-and-a-half is best guess and probably correct for Novoa. This will be the only real factor that functions in Novoa's favor, as Zhong will be defending his crown at home and has faced the much deeper field of competition. Of note, however, is their one common opponent Javier Martin Resendiz. Zhong outpointed him over twelve in his strawweight debut to claim his title, while Novoa stopped him in four. :think
