If Mayweather/McGregor becomes official may I ask that out of respect for the sport that it isn't included here?

 

Only if Floyd allows it to be. I have a feeling he's going to coast and let McGregor have his moments and maybe even win rounds before stopping him mid-late.

 

At this level it's just business... I know McGregor is the kind of guy who psyches himself up and may actually give it a go, but even he must know that he really doesn't have a shot and just there for the payday. Wouldn't be surprised if the UFC worked out a deal with Floyd not make McGregor look too bad so his stock wouldn't take that much of a hit.

 

That's quite possible to be honest ...

But wouldn't losing a couple of rounds hurt Floyd's legacy? Someone who claims to be TBE shouldn't ever lose a couple of rounds to a boxing debutant.

I legitimately believe the Granados/Broner fight is a good one to take a shot at, and you can currently get Granados at aroun +250, but is a solid number. They are night and day in their mindsets and dedication to the sport. Granados is a machine, you need to watch him to appreciate the tenacity and work rate he brings to the ring.

You simply can't lay on the ropes and be inactive against a guy who can throw 120, 130 punches a round for an entire fight. At that point it stops being talent dictating how a match between two fighters is going to go, and becomes simple math.

Then again, they screwed Troy Dorsey against Jorge Paez this exact same way 20 some odd years ago, so what do I know.
