You should go look at how many of Roberto Duran's or Julio Cesar Chavez's records were filled with debuting/losing record fighters while they were defending champions in their primes. Was a common practice between title defenses for some champions to take 3-5 fights against no hopers to "stay sharp or prevent ring rust, but also pad their win/KO totals.

Can you guys believe that Dawson is a 4/1 underdog against Fonfara, thats bonkers it seems more a 50/50 neither man has shown great form these last two years. Fonfara coming off a devastating ko from smith jr and Dawson a long lay off and a easy tune up in White.
