Haye didn't choke though... He fought nearly half the fight on one leg. Maybe even taking a rd or two in the process Just some food for thought... What if Haye didn't fall through the ropes(he'd have won the rd) and hung on in the 12th to see the cards. The scores could have potentially been interesting.
He choked, by underestimating Bellews ability to take his shot, which he felt wasn't possible. Which lead to alot of the wild punches he was throwing and missing in desperation, while looking severely off balanced which had to have aggravated that achilles. It was only a matter of time before that injury crept up on him during the fight.
Yeah it would have been interesting to see the cards but my only issue is, if he had an achilles injury, why not tape it up in the locker room to make sure it's stable? You know? What a bone head decision that was.
I'd be resting at #7 if not for the missed Freshmart pick! Still. Improved 1 spot over last weekends standing, and shot back up from #14 to #9 after a nearly perfect weekend.
Even 1 missed pick to me is a big deal... And it always seems to be mother****ing Freshmart that I miss
Andrade tko, commey tko, tso tko, wach tko, granat UD, gonzalez tko, golovkin ko, guerfi ud, quigley tko, linares tko
I dropped from 3rd to 6th despite calling Thurman-Garcia & Eggington-Malignaggi correctly, Kaikanha & Pitto let me down !!!
You seemed confident with that Pitto pick! I was confident it would go the other way since Pitto doesn't have much power, struggled with Paz twice(who Saldivia beat easily) and the fact that Saldivia only usually loses to good fighters
Actually I wasn't that confident, just was trying to see if anyone had strong reasons to go the other way. I did see that Paz was a common opponent, but thought Saldivia might just have got too old coming of a very bad KO loss. It was a SD in the end, although from what I hear it should have been a UD, although close.
May I ask why Rico Ramos vs. Erik Ruiz is here? Neither of these guys are relevant and there isn't even a minor title at stake.
