Pesonally I love Hogan, he's a great guy, or at least he seems that way, albeit a little bit of a phony, but his in ring gimmick was cheesy as hell even for the 80's I was always a Macho Man and Roddy Piper guy. The best movie about Graziano is Someone Up There3 Likes Me with Paul Newman. Play It To The Bone and Diggstown are watchable and good, but far from great films.
That Micky Ward movie was pretty good too, although I couldn't believe they didn't include the Gatti trilogy that made him famous in the movie. Or at least the FOTY with Augustus.
No Jon Favreau "Gutter" from PCU, "Foggy" in Ben Affleck's terrible Daredevil movie. Tony Stark's white buddy and the director of Iron Man, "Mike" from Swingers. The guy you're thinking of I think is James Gandolfini.
Just finished with Buddy McGirt vs Pernell Whitaker 1. Had it a draw 1,2,6,7,8 & 10 Pete 3,4,5,9,11 & 12 Buddy.
Are you talking about "The Fighter" or whatever the name of the movie was? The thing about this movie is that sometimes I thought it's more about his brother Dicky not about Micky but still I enjoyed it.
3/11 - Yves Ulysse Jr. vs. Zachary Ochoa - 8x3 3/11 - Yuriorkis Gamboa vs. Rene Alvarado - 10x3 3/11 - Rico Ramos vs. Erik Ruiz - 10x3 Ramos UD, Gamboa TKO, Ochoa SD
Just watched Ivan Baranchyk vs Abel Ramos and oh my god, I love both fighters and must see them again soon
Damn you!! I was torn but for some reason fancied Ramos. Now you have me thinking... I have no real idea about either but i saw that Ruiz had been in with better opposition but Ramos is coming down in weight to make this fight ?
Holy S**t! Just noticed @moparfan has picked Ramos as well. I just knocked his glass jaw around for 4 rounds. That pick is looking dodgy
I'm just messing with you, the only time I've seen Ramos was against Rigo and he fought exceptionally bad, so I have no real idea how good he is. Never really wanted to watch him again after that performance, Ruiz appears to be on the rise from what I can tell.
