    Just a random rant rom me.

    God I hate comedy now days, Stand Up is basically dead, no one has the guts to go for off color un-PC offensive humor anymore because they're terrified of being hunted down by crazed SJW's, and the only guys with the balls to do stuff like that from the 70's, 80's and early 90's are retired or dead. The PC brigade has made everything on earth taboo or a sacred cow, so the only thing people are allowed to make fun of are white trash Republican hicks or at least that's how they stereotypically see all Republicans. We already have, 1 Bill Maher, 1 Lewis Black and 1 Jon Stewart are more than enough, but no, now we have an army of their clones to have to deal with. And the political anti-Trump humor is mind numbing and redundant to the point of nausea... it seems endless. Oh you're so hip and trendy, you're a rebel, you believe in liberal values that the majority of the rest of Americans believe in at this point. Has anyone told most liberals that we won the culture war, and that we need to stop fighting and get over it. Move on, there's other things to make fun of in this world, stop being intellectually lazy cowards and going for the lowest hanging fruit all of the time.

    Then we have SNL, which has been suffering from a severe case of The Emperor's New Clothes for the last 20 years, in reality it hasn't been funny since Sandler, Spade, Schneider cast left around 94. But no, according to the media we're all supposed to be ROFL non stop at creepy mother****ers whose only source of comedy is how repellent they are like Will Ferrell and Darryl Hammond. Or we're supposed to be guffawing at Jimmy Fallon, when his bumbling act was played out when Ellen DeGeneres was doing it, and she was ripping off Bob Newhart. But the real geniuses we're supposed to be in permanent awe of are Tina Fey and Amy Poehler the latter with that despicable smarmy look on her face non stop, whose best work to date is still playing Andy Richter's sister on Conan, she's been riding the coattails of Tina Fey for years, and Tina Fey is about as funny as Julia Sweeney to begin with, and that's not a compliment. The majority of the cast members of SNL for the last 20 years have been over the top, snarky, smarmy, way too tongue in cheek, too hipsterish, in many cases downright unpleasant to look at and painfully unfunny. The show has been garbage from the time I was a teenager. Its a pity this generation never has been exposed to any actual comedy, they don't know what they're missing, they've been force fed a steady diet of low level dreck for two decades now masquerading as comedy and its all they know, I feel sad for how awful this generation has it, especially since most of them never even attempt to research anything that happened in the world prior to last week.

    Melissa McCarthy has made herself famous for being a loud annoying unfunny fat slob, Rosie O'Donnell and Roseanne Barr both did it much better, and Roseanne had the benefit of actually being funny. Kate McKinnon thinks she's hilarious, you can literally she it in her eyes when she's delivering her lines, she's so proud of herself, she's ****ing cringeworthy.

    And back to the creep thing, Bill Hader, David Cross, Rob Cordrey, Jason Sudeikis, Fred Armisen, Seth Myers, Will Forte, Seth Myers and Andy Samberg all look like someone you avoid like the plague if you saw them in public, they look like sleazeballs. Rob Cordrey looks like you'd catch coming out of a jerkoff booth in NYC at 3 in the morning. Creepy looking doesn't mean funny, not sure when, why and how that weird trend transpired.

    Its pretty ****ing sad when the greatest comedians of the modern era are Sasha Baron Cohen, Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn. (I'm a fan of all three) And that's about it.

    I will say I'm quite fond of Kristen Wiig, she's one of the only SNL cast members in recent memory that I see a bit of the old school SNL crew in, she's almost like a Bill Muray-Gilda Radner hybrid.

    I could go on for 4 or 5 more pages.
