Questions and Ramblings - The Chinese Heavyweight, Dong, he didn't fight last year? Why? Top Rank seemed to be trying to make him a brand... did he get injured? - Whatever happened to Beastsideboxing? - There was a boxer a few years ago, everyone always said he looked like a savage ax murderer or something.... not sure if he was Russian but seemed that way lol, looked inexperienced and limited as hell but was KO'ing everyone he touched it seemed.... not sure if his name started with a Dhy or Khy or something, higher weights... maybe heavyweight, does anyone by chance know who I'm talking about? lol - If I can stay active in the league, and everything remains smooth here.... I'm half thinking to bring back money and wagering. I just don't want to create something so big, like was the case a few years back, that updating it becomes such a chore for Pinoy or myself. If someone wanted to be in charge of updating the wagers though as we go, I would happily bump up our old format, put $10 next to everyones name, and we could begin wagering again. I just don't want it to be another thing that winds up falling on Pinoy to do as he does a lot as it is. But if anyone cares to, let me know what you think on that. Not sure if anyone even cares to have them back anyways, so just let me know.
Maybe they made him a brand in something else as boxing. I dunno. He was a good poster here Kudryasov probably. A murderous puncher at Cruiser. He got KO'd last year by Durodola (or something like that) and is at a rebuilding stage atm. No doubt the awe factor is gone now, but he is back KO-ing opponents highlight reel style. That would be kinda cool. But I still think I won't be around for the whole year. Maybe for the bigger fights.
Thanks Robney! I think you are exactly right on who I was referring to, gonna youtube that name right now. Ya he was a regular in the league and a good poster... I hear you man. Most of the years of the league Ive actually only ever picked on the bigger fights. Theres always tournaments to do if you feel like popping in but don't want to do the long marathon of the annual chase, Ill try to have one every month or so.... only picking 4 or 5 fights really, that youll know at the start of the month. Nice n easy. But I of all people can understand wanting to take a break lol...
I think some of you might find this interesting, and it actually took me about an hour and a half to do this (I was bored), I looked up all the info on the natal charts of a ton of Boxers with varying styles, and check out their Mars placement. This is NOT their birth sign. That's where Mars was moving through when they were born, whether it does or doesn't it supposed to affect people's tempers aggressiveness and overall the way they fight. For example I have a Leo in Mars, a very aggressive placement, that's the same placement that Donald Trump has in Mars, anyone see any similarities when I get angry? So I think there may be a little validity to this, so tell me, do you see any fighting style similarities here? Note some signs are conservative like Capricorn, Virgo, Cancer, Taurus as in risk adverse at times. Some signs are more aggressive and willing to mix it up like Aries, Leo, Sagittarius. And others can be wishy washy and adjust depending on the moment like Scorpio, Libra, Gemini, Pisces, Aquarius. And in some cases if their sun sign if a strong one, which I haven't listed can overwhelm a weak Mars. Enjoy And for the record... here's the posters on here's Mars placement.
