How's everyone feeling about the Burns/Idongo fight tonight? I've got a strong feeling that Idongo is going to dominate. Just not a style that gives Burn's an inch to succeed against. Bad style match-up, in other words.

So give me an advice , should I go to see Easter JR vs Shafikov? I am flying in the end of June and I am staying in the US for 4-5 months. The fight will be like 50 minutes away from the place where I will be but idk that much about this division and those fighters.

Shafikov is an ok fighter, Ima not really big on him. He holds wins over Herring, Commey, Rahimov, Fernando Trejo (decent journeyman). Shafikov has lost to Miguel Vazquez, Rances Barthelemy.

Easter Jr, I like a lot. Though he holds a win against Richard Commey, I actually thought Easter Jr lost that fight. Besides Commey, the biggest name value on Easter's resume is Daniel Attah-a well seasoned tough and durable journeyman that has fought a who's who of boxing...!!!

Easter was an alternate on the 2012 Olympic team, houses amateur wins over Mike "Yes Indeed" Reed, Manuel Lopez.

Easter is an orthodox puncher, Shafikov is your typical southpaw.

Head clash may play a pivotal role in this fight, Shafikov has (or I shall say) had a tendency to bury his head and rise it up while throwing an uppercut, and Easter sometimes like to engage in close.

    My prediction:

    Easter UD 116-112 or 117-111

I didn't think that fight was hard to score for Easter at all. Outside of Commey landing one bomb, he was clearly outlanded and outboxed. Commey was quite crude, and slow.

Commey is crude, but I wouldn't call him slow.

Easter-Commey was 116-110 Easter (at least that's how I saw it), I don't see how anyone could have scored that match for Commey, I legitimately don't get line of thinking at all.

    My scorecard:

    ...................Easter Jr...........Commey............Total
    R1................10..........................9....................10-9
    R2................9..........................10..................19-19
    R3................9..........................10..................28-29
    R4................10..........................9..................38-38
    R5................10..........................9..................48-47
    R6................9..........................10..................57-57
    R7................10..........................9..................67-66
    R8................8..........................10..................75-76
    R9................9..........................10..................84-86
    R10..............9..........................10..................93-96
    R11..............10..........................9.............103-105
    R12..............10..........................9.............113-114

    Could go either way:

    1, 3, 6, 9,11

BS "Knockdown" in 8th, glove did not touch canvas, could be 10-9 Easter or 10-9 (or 10-8) Commey

We disagree on Rounds 3,6,9,.....Rounds 3, 6 and 9 were close, so if I gave those rounds to Easter he gets the win (hell if I scored the bogus KD as a 10-9 round, Easter gets a DRAW on my card)...!!!

It was a close fight with a lot of close rounds, I could easily see anyone having it 116-110 Easter all the way to 115-112 Commey...!!!

I would love to see a rematch...!!!
