I just handed one to Mandibular Fortitude. I warned him twice to knock off the trolling and he didn't listen.

It was a heartbreaking fight to watch.

I hope Gamboa can get some momentum again. He's got a hell of a heart.

Man, signing with 50 Cent completely derailed his career. Hope he does come back while his talent is still potent. Fight guys more his size

Didn't Gamboa pull out of his last fight at the very last moment (Against an African fighter, I forget his name) in France a few months ago? His own trainer left before the fight in disgust with him, I believe.

Seems to be nearly impossible to control out of the ring, with the numerous promotional issues, inconsistency in the ring, long periods of inactivity.

Anyone remember when huge underdog Farrenas landed hard on the aloof Gamboa and nearly had him gone? Fights like that made Gamboa's career a surreal and somewhat disappointing experience. I remember when he was as hot as a fighter can be among fans, he was as highly touted as Lomochenko or GGG is now and that's no small feat.

He looked pretty bad against Hylon Williams Jr. as in he looks like he lost a step, maybe he was just rusty, but aside from the Crawford performance he's looked pretty shoddy for a few years now.

What the hell is it with movies with Passenger in the title, one of the weirdest movies I've ever seen, (at least at the time) was The Passenger from Michelangelo Antonioni, watch the trailer, and you'll see what I mean.

The vast majority of time I can't be arsed with the general forum.

So much of it is filled with lost Mayweather and Pacquiao fans trying to turn every fight between every fighter about them two.

On top of that you have the slick black crew vs the eastern euros.

There is just not objective debating at all.

All these Jack fans that came out of the woodwork, you just know it's because Floyd is his promoter.

I've been working through a list of 100 boxing fights to watch this last 6 month and it really makes me wonder why I bother with the sport today.

It's why, apart from this this thread, I just exist in the classic.

So true ! Remember the hype around Bellew? A couple of days ago there was a thread and a poll about which fighter is your favourite in the CW. Guess what - after 3 days there wasn't a single vote for Bellew and there were like 5000 trolls explaining that he is the best and he will rock Usyk and everyone else in the division.

It isn't usually this bad, the last few days have seen an explosion of race-baiting.

Everyone should have $10 next to their name... we will start with that and go from there.

Ill bump the wager page tomorrow when I find it. But its pretty simple.... its 'money' to be used in case anyone cares to do some wagering with others.

At the end of every month, everyone will receive an additional $10, plus various salaries for various positions within the league, but must be holding that position on the 1st of the month, when all monthly salaries will be paid.

    $30 for the Rankings Leader
    $20 for the #1 Challenger
$10 for the peoples champion + $10 for every defense in his current reign
    $10 for the KO KING
$10 to the most recent Crowning King

    That will do for now....

Again Ill bump the actual page tomorrow... I know not everyone will be into this aspect of the league, but for those that are feel free to start wagering. It will start off slow (because its new, and because we are starting off with such little money) but will probably build up steam as we go.

    - All bets must be in multiples of 10
    - $10 minimum bet

I will probably up those numbers to $20 a month and add ten to each of the salaries..... but was just trying to get the idea out there before I go to bed.
