He said he felt it was his night and just a matter of time so took his time. The night of the fight i was really mad about it but, looking back on it, I cant fault wlad too too much... AJ looked completely done... and while he should have gone for the kill, i can see where he would think it was just a manner of time at that point. AJ really did look finished, imo.
I reckon Ortiz would have been out cold taking that right hand, The old tubster couldnt go 11rounds at that pace, getting tagged with right hands. Wilder wouldnt be able to stand up to it either. I think cst wants joshua to lose so much, hes just naming names that could beat him, although klitchko is better than wilder and ortiz, especially ortiz. Joshua would beat those 2, based on that performance. Neither have the footwork of klitchko, and thats what made it hard for Joshua. Wilder is a huge puncher but hes weak, Joshua would overpower him. Ortiz is probably older then wladimir lol and has half the conditioning. Joshua showed a good chin, and as did wladimir, they both showed heart but cst wont recognize joshuas heart and will to win. I knew this fight would come down to youth and strength.
Wlad could have pushed for the kill, but if Joshua survives than Wlad punches himself out, as he did against Brewster.
I'm switching to Redkach TKO.. I think Mendez fights too negative and will get caught with something big and get stopped, mid to late rounds.
Still not sure about the Redkach-Mendez fight. They're both facing the style they're known to struggle against. Which guy can better use that to their advantage? Ehhhhhh.....
I think Redkach is fresher than Mendez, I think that could play a big part in the outcome of the fight.
