There is a decent argument. Chavez has hired Nacho and Memo Heradia and is actually taking this fight seriously for once. And if he gets to his old level, and Canelo doesn't improve significantly from the 154/155 lb version we have seen, Chavez Jr definitely has a very good chance. After all, this is the guy who beat Andy Lee by knockout and lasted 9 rounds with a top LHW in Fonfara. I'm not switching, however, as although I think Chavez Jr has a better chance than most people think, it's still a good deal less than 50% in my books. Picking the underdog isn't a good strategy long-term, even if it's a very live dog.
The barback /busboy at work has been sick, so I gave him a week off to get well...Ive been covering his shift for him, trying to be a nice guy and a good boss...!!! Working 16-18 hours a day is killing me, but gotta provide for my family...!!!
This fight is giving me fits... Might switch, but just wanted to get the pick in. 7-8 hours or so before fight time right?
Which one is the Mendez fight? I'm favouring Mendez because of his counter punching abiity, his lack of activity is worrying against plodder like redkach who walks through shots to land his. I'm hoping Mendez can pick him off as he is definitely the more cerebral of the two but wouldn't be surprised if the more active redkach outlands with volume.
