First of GREAT JOB keeping up with this League.

But I do need to address 2 points, without sounding like a complete jerk.

1. When NEW fights are listed, can you please let us know...???
1/28 - Jorge Lara vs. Oktay Takalak - 10x3 was put on the schedule without any warning, not a big deal but some people might have not seen it.

2. In the All Time Records, you have @Bustajay ranked #58 and #102...!!!

 

Is there any way we can start including more fights, potentially some more obscure ones?

There are big upsets in boxing on a constant basis. Weekly almost. Aleem over Khytrov just this last weekend, Aleem was +450 at one time. That's pretty substantial.

2. Thanks for the heads up. Forgot to delete Bustajay's old placement and it messes up the numbered rankings from 102 on. Will fix it when I feel like it since that's annoying to do lol

 

I try to put the significant, world-level fights in the schedule as accurate as I can. Yes, some fights that others would want on the schedule might not make it since making a perfect schedule to everyone's liking is impossible. That's why I feel like I have a target on my back from time to time. The meaning of "obscure" is somewhat subjective since not everybody follows every part of the boxing world but people will complain at times when I add an Asian fight which I feel is significant, but is obscure to them. And people have complained in the past about adding "obscure fights" so I've been weary about adding certain fights. It's hard to please everybody, unfortunately. Thanks for your input Russell.

 

Hmmmm. Well, the Khytrov fight for example was with a fight with a pretty damned popular prospect who was coming up the ranks quickly. Not including obscure Asian fights from Japanese or Thai events I get. But the one I'm citing was for a variant of a world title with two undefeated prospects, one a pretty well known fighter.

I just can't see any harm in more options. If anything it will make the league more competitive, and people more invested. If we're going to include fights like Lara/Foreman that are have underdogs that are +1500 and where everyone is going to get an easy free win... Shouldn't there be an equal amount of opportunities for posters to separate themselves?

Just some thoughts, anyway.

I'm biased though, I love researching boxing tape and boxing betting. So of course I'm going to harp on something like that.

 

I've let you add loads of fights that you suggested, you just have to understand that not every fight could make it, thanks for your work
