Love the Death Wishes. But Hard Times>> them and most Bronson films for that matter. The fight choreography in that movie was unreal for the time, still holds up to this day in all honesty... Bronson knew how to box and it showed.

Margarito is looking cooler with age... Wouldn't take much for him to get a role in a show like Better call Saul I'd say... Margarito as one of Hector's henchman? That would be sick.

Good call on Starman. One of Jeff Bridges's best films, imo.

I liked but didn't love Labyrinth at the time, but I remember liking it more on a second viewing. Cinema Paradiso is great, as was Das Boot in an entirely different sort of way (lots of good foreign moves in that decade).

Speaking of Bowie, I really dug Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence. Round Midnight was kind of terrific in a low key way. Killing Fields is kind of forgotten now, but remains one of my favorite films. And so on...and so on...

80's churned out a bunch of great movies in lots of different genres.
