I actually favored Alexander in the round even before that. Favored his cleaner and harder punches.

 

Ayala definitely not the fighter he used to be. He could be racking up points here simply by flinging out a jab as there are 10+ second stretches where Alexander does pretty much nothing.. But he seems to be gun shy. Fight is slipping away from him now. Alexander isn't particularly good either.

Lol. Ayala go KO'd in farcical fashion... Was winning that round too.

 

Good step up win for Alexander over a faded by named fighter, but he won't go much further than this.

 

Ayala should retire... Alexander vs. Tureano Johnson or Curtis Stevens if he wants to take a further step up would be good, or even if wants to continue to develop(at 32 he doesn't exactly have all the time in the world) James de la Rosa is a tough journeyman who would give him some rounds.

 

How do you rate Alexander off this performance @PinoyProdigy

 

He's pretty decent offensively when he's actually throwing punches. I'd say his ceiling is probably a Top 20 middleweight. I'd give him a decent shot against someone like Khytrov.

2017 Lineage and Records​

Rules:
- First come first serve on challenges issued
- No stacking of challenges
- Can not challenge a fight more than 10 days away
- If champions change their pick after challenge has been set, they forfeit their title and it goes to the challenger who then becomes the interim champion, to fight for the vacant title against the next challenger
- Only 1 challenge per day, although a champion can have unlimited defenses per day
- Anyone who loses a title fight, must wait until 3 challenges occur before they can challenge again. If no one has challenged the champion,
