I sort of like and don't like the idea.

I like that it would add interest in the lower ELO bouts, however I suspect that the belts will converge unless specific rules are added which could be confusing.

What about, instead, a sort of WBSS tournament for the WBK belt? That way everyone has a fair chance of becoming the winner at the end of the tournament.

 

Damnit, pulling for the underdog is addictive. I was #6 less than 2 weeks ago, I'll probably be out of top10 by the end of this weekend lol.

 

Sounds good. Instead what about a tournament for the lower guys and the winner then gets a mandatory match against the champion?

 

I think you might strike gold with the South African fight... That's what my gut is telling me, but too afraid to pull the trigger and going to play it safe today.
