If you pick a stoppage (KO)

In the last 4 rounds of a 12 rounds Fight
In the last 2 rounds of a 10 rounds Fight
In the last round of a 8 rounds Fight

You can win the WBK round 10-9 if the result is a UD

ex: KO12 vs KO7 - Result UD - Who picked KO12 wins 10-9 (12 Rounder)
ex: KO10 vs KO5 - Result UD - Who picked KO10 wins 10-9 (10 Rounder)
ex: KO8 vs KO7 - Result UD - Who picked KO8 wins 10-9 (8 Rounder)

*note- If both guys do it, the one getting closer to the last round wins 10-9
ex: KO11 vs KO12 - Result UD - KO12 wins 10-9

Why isn't Round 2 10-9 in my favor?

 

Because you both picked KO when it was a UD. If you pick a tko in the last 3 or 4 rounds of a 12 round fight you get the round because it counts as a late tko meaning u can win the round if it is a points win and u and your opponent have a tko. I’ve probably explained it badly

 

So how come everyone else has a 10-9 round for that fight? From my understanding, you should also have a 10-9 in that round, along with me since our KO choice was the closest to the 12-round decision.

 

in a 12 rounder if u have a tko 9 or later and your opponent has tko 7 u get the 10-9 because its a late tko pick which lets u win the round if it goes to a ud

 

Oh ok, I thought it was just whoever was closer to the decision. Didn't realize this new rule was even implemented. Thanks for the heads up.
