Welcome aboard @red_roo! I just noticed that you edited in the method for your picks, but I did not include them on pg 6. Since you picked the correct method (KO) for the Magramo fight, I need to add a KO to your record. In the future (and this is an FYI to our rookies and a reminder to our veterans), please DO NOT edit any picks made on a page before a rankings update, and definitely no edits to a post where one of the fights has completed or is in progress. I can understand going back and fixing a mistake or adding some detail to a pick shortly after it is made, but generally if you need to make an update or change, please submit a new post. Also please DO NOT delete any posts made in this thread. The staff members see all deletions anyway and I will request them to reinstate the deleted post to keep order in the thread. If we decide to go with the suggestion below from @kirk, that edit would make your picks invalid. Not sure about being that strict, but its up for discussion. Sorry if I'm picking on you, but I thought this would be a good time to remind everyone about edits and deletions. Again, welcome aboard and hope you enjoy the competition!
I think you should make an exception and both picks should be valid but obviously it makes no difference at all , 1-1 or 0-0 ...but he had no bad intention so i think it should be valid.
You made two underdog picks in relation to the picks on this league and one went through. Keep it up and you can be in contention of the ‘DareDevil’ race beside winning the title.
Yeah, for someone who's brand new to the game, they should get the benefit of the doubt. Don't think there was any ill will there.
So, uh, what are the rules on changing picks again? Because now I think Ndongeni could very likely get robbed.
I thought the edit pick invalidates the pick has been in place for years now? Or did we soften up on it?
He edited the pick before the fight happened, I think that rule only stands if the edit took place during or after the fight.
Yeah I get it and I agree, but this guy just joined, and he was asked to include the method of victory, which he initially left out, so he did, I don't think it should be held against a newbie having to fix his first picks, as requested of him, against him. If it becomes a pattern, then fine, don't count them.
In this specific case I fully agree I just thought generally speaking the rule was no editing allowed
