Just wondering why in the same scenario last year in series 4 last year and series 20 there was rematches granted but I don't get 1 this time?

In the history of the WBK we try to but didn't always give immediate rematches e.g. September WBK series 23 last year Boxingabc1 vs Kiwiman was a draw but no immediate rematch. Ditto series 30.

In this case I had already promised the next challenger spot to nellybc.

I will try to fit in a new title challenge for you as soon as possible, it is no secret that we try to (and always manage eventually) make up for past inconsistencies. These inconsistencies are as a result of random fixtures at the start of the year while I was away and also some stuff in December last year, there's a backlog of deserving challengers and I am making it up to those who missed out, as you see nelly has a massive Elo without fighting for the title for a while. That's why nellybc's last match was not an eliminator but just for fun.

I'm sorry I can't give the immediate rematch but we will make it up to you for sure. The easiest way, and the one we'll do, is to make you the next challenger regardless of your result in the next match.

 

I appreciate the response mate I had just noticed the 1 at the end of the year that had no rematch but your explanation makes the decision a lot more understandable,I'm more pissed off with myself then anything for not being more aware of the start time of that last fight as I new what i needed to do with that last pick and had planned the last minute change.
