    Frenois' is also much bigger than Farmer and Carroll, and hits harder than Farmer. Quite frankly I think Frenois would beat Tevin's ass.

    Frenois imo could beat Farmer with fair judging, Carroll i just dont think has the boxing skill to beat farmer

    What about the this scenario? Carroll dominated the first 5 or 6 rounds of the Frenois match but Frenois has great stamina... Farmer faded in the Ogawa match and the Fonseca match, and he wasn't really pushed like Carroll can push him in either.

    I see your point of view. I just don't see Carroll outworking him enough to get the decision away from home. I also don't think he has enough power to stop him. I'll still be rooting for him though, can't stand Farmer.

    I remember when the book came out twenty years ago. I didn't read it at the time, but the description has always been vividly in my memory. I've even talked about it with my psychiatrists from time to time. This fellow had a schizo paranoid fear of Irishmen, so much so that he imagined them stalking him, coming under the cracks in his door even to kill him. It shows him shooting one in the trailer, but for some reason I thought he stabbed his victim.

    Since I also suffer from some undo paranoia, such a story has weighed on me. For me, it came as a fear of unlocked doors or windows, and the idea that burglars wanted to break into my house at night. I often get up at night, grab a hammer, a baseball bat, or pipe and walk a perimeter around my house. I'll do this several times a night, lying awake listening for any sound. And that's just some of the milder effects.

    You wouldn't think that the creation of a stuffy old dictionary would be so interesting, but I wouldn't mind a trilogy of such films. Dr. Samuel Johnson's Dictionary was the pre-eminent English dictionary before this for 173 years, and he led a fascinating life. Then we could cap it off with a film about the French Encyclopedia and Denis Diderot.*

    I'm not sure about Mel Gibson and Sean Penn though.

    *I recently ran across a book by Diderot called Indiscreet Jewels wherein a sultan gains a magical ring which makes women's genitals talk about their past amorous engagements.
