But he challenged before. So his challenge is on and you can not challenge till the Pulev vs Dinu fight is over.

 

OK. That's a weird policy though. If the champ puts forward all picks for a month at once and someone challenges a fight which is at the end of the month, by this rule - there can't be a challenge for 30 days.

I think the rule shall be reconsidered.

Yeah I too would be in favour of that rule change...it'll mean more challenges/more swings and more of an incentive to go against the grain and pick underdogs.

 

This isn't possible as you can only challenge picks which are 7 days away tops!

I don't think rules are bad here. We are talking about two fights which are not even 24 hrs away from each other...so he challenged his pick first and he should get the chance here.

I think it's okay if both fights at the same day. If not then we might need a rule change that the challenge which is from the earlier day should be considered first.

 

What I'm saying is; a challenge for an earlier fight should take precedence, especially in cases like these where 2 events are several hours (in this case half a day) apart.

By the way, don't get me wrong. I'm just writing my thoughts. I appreciate the response. I'm OK with whatever rules you go by.

The rules for challenging for the People’s championship are fine. We implemented those rules to prevent stacking of challenges. First come, first serve (within the 1 week span).

It prevents the mess of having similar picks if the title does change hands and the now new champion has a similar pick to the one who initially challenged first. A bit wordy of an explanation but hopefully you guys understood.
