R2 10-9 Mahoney 2-0 Mahoney
R3 10-9 Mahoney. Close round. George landed some decent punches.
R4 10-9 George. Nearly gave G the previous round. Gave him that one. Just.
R5 10-9 Mahoney close. 4-1 Mahoney but the last 3 have been very close.
R6 10-9 Mahoney 5-1 Mahoney but these rounds are close. George in it.
R7 - 10- 8 George. George is stronger & hits harder. Dropped him late.
R8 10-9 Mahoney but George had his moments. 6-2 Mahoney.
R9 10-9 Mahoney. 7-2 Mahoney. George has a 10-8 round.
R10 - 10-9 George. 96-93 Mahoney on my scorecard. Lots of close rounds.
Official scores - 95-94, 96-93 & missed the last one. UD Mahoney.
Justis Huni on his way to the ring for the main event. Best H/W talent we've ever had. Should be a first round job. Not a league fight but indulge me.
Justis Huni stops Jack Maris in the first. No knock downs. Maris actually looked better than I thought he would & protested the stoppage. He was getting hit hard & often though.
Mahoney must be really terrible if he can barely beat the likes of Kris George.
Good win by Huni. @Sandman_ do you know whether Huni will participate in the Olympics this year?
Kris George is actually quite decent (no, really). His hand was bung when he went to the UK.
Huni will definitely be fighting at the Olympics. He looked tremendous in his first two pro fights last year but had a training setback earlier this year that has kept him out. He will fight twice more before the Olympics. He's scheduled to fight Lucas Browne in early July if Big Daddy beats Paul Gallen.
