4-Beppu backed on to the ropes, thinks he took a big one there buit Toyoshima failed to follow up, Beppu recovered well, Toyoshima pressing more intensely but losing his form as he lets shots go, both land up top with a single shot, Toyoshima seems to be putting more in to everything he throws, but he's having success with his jab now, lovely little bit of footwork from Beppu who turns Toyoshima and lands a solid body shot, a body shot back from Toyoshima, Toyoshima corners Beppu and lands another body shot, and another one after Beppu escapes, and another later in the round. Beppu almost trips over his own feet before taking one more body shot on the bell.

Judges have it 40-36, 40-3 and 39-37 to Toyoshima. HARSH!

5-Toyoshima, looking the stronger man but he's backing up a bit this round, and seems to be taking the round off, Beppu coming forward, but he eats a nasty jab as he misses with an uppercut, nice body shot deep in the round from Toyoshima, Toyoshima missing wildly at times.

Toyoshima's tempo slowed there but he still seemed to land the better shots. 48-47 RT

 

6-Toyoshima taking center ring and looking very relaxed early in the round, Beppu really not having much success at all, even when he starts coming forward, both land some jabsm Beppu gets counters with a right hand, Beppu with a combination on the guard of Toyoshima, Toyoshima's jab is proving a good tool here in keeping Beppu at range, big Toyoshima body shot. Beppu looking out of ideasand some of his shots look very weary. 58-56 Toyoshima

 

7-Beppu still looking like a man with no idea how to turn this around, and not willing to sell out yet, he does land a glancing body shot though, Toyoshima with a huge body shot of his own, body shot from Beppu, a huge body shot from Toyoshima gets applause from the crowd, and an uppercut from Toyoshima drops Beppu...he gets up...50 seconds left, Toyoshima after his man and lands a good left hook, Beppu decides to fire back but he seemed to be hurt again from a body shot, Toyoshima to the body again. 10-8 round.

8-Beppu starting to come forward a bit more, takes a sweeping hook in return for landing a body shot, body flurry from Beppu, body shot from Toyoshima, a right from Toyoshima, jabs from Beppu, a right to the head and a right to the body from Toyoshima, Beppu chasing his man with little success, a stiff jab from Toyoshima snaps back Beppu's head, a left hook to the body from Toyoshima, a right hand to the body from Beppu.

9-Toyoshima stills looks much stronger, but to his credit Beppu seems to have some energy in his legs, a big right hand from Beppu just bounces off Toyoshima's noggin, Beppu trying to dig deep and turn this around but it always looks like he thinks he can do it off a single shot - not happening buddy you need to sell out with a combination, jabs from Beppu land but littleon them, Toyoshima just misses with a counter right hand. Toyoshima didn't really do much in that round...

10-Beppu coming forward, Toyoshima seems on cruise control, body shot from Beppu, Toyoshima fires back, a huge right from Beppu followed by another - his best moment in a long time, Toyoshima respond but Beppu fires back again! And a body shot from Beppu, a left uppercut to the gut from Toyoshima, a body shot from Toyoshima, more body whork from Toyoshima, a jab-hook combo from Toyoshima, another hiuge body shot from Toyoshima, Beppu is hurt, a jab stumbles Beppu, and he goes down from a follow up...and counted out! Beppu's charge early in the round was killed off by the body shots which took the fight out of him

What a bummer! What do you think of the fight, I think if given distance, Shimizu can knock Mori out

 

I'm backing Mori for that one, Shimizu, if he lands clean, can probably knock out a horse, but he's so so ****ing clumsy, and so open. Fancying Mori to break him down and get him out there late TBh.

 

Interesting, that thought inline with most people on this league.. a pity we can’t watch it.. somebody is going down for sure
