Yildirim is bigger? As Cullen? What? Yildirim isn't even a big Super Middleweight. I was standing next to Avni a couple of times in the past when he fought here and i was working at the venue and he looked like an absolute midget. I was surprised that he fought at 168. He put on some muscles for sure since training in Florida but still...he's not naturally bigger than Cullen. Cullen will probably rehydrate to 175-180 pounds. Probably even more considering how big he looked against Docherty who is a big dude and much bigger than Avni. Avni might be under 175 in the ring. Let's say maybe 172/173 to 175 but he doesn't rehydrate a lot. Cullen will be the much bigger guy in the ring tonight and while i agree that Cullen loves to stand in the pocket he fought smarter in his last two and looked pretty damn good. I doubt he needs robbery or gift against a guy like Avni. Avni is just not very good. He's basic, raw and has a questionable chin as Lolenga Mock rocked him to his core a couple of times. And once things not going his way he's going out anyway. If Cullen shows up and loses to Yildirim i'd be shocked personally.
Lol! Yildrim is a steaming pile of ****, I bet Ottke could come out of retirement and give this clown a run for his money.
Personally i like the Belly card a lot more than the UFC card tonight but both Main events are equally good imo although i like Pitbull vs. AJ so much that i'll definitely watch that no matter if the UFC card is still on (which isn't likely though). I got Strickland and AJ McKee here but i'm not really confident in Sean. His volume and pressure should be too much for Hall BUT....he's just very hittable and doesn't move his ****ing head so i wouldn't be shocked if Hall lands the kill shot at some point. AJ is just an insane prospect. I love this guy. I think he'll keep Pitbull at bay and pick him apart. Pitbull is the Featherweight GOAT for sure but it's time for something new.
I'm inclined to agree with both picks, but I'll never count Pitbull out, he's pulled off a lot of shockers. McKee has a lot of advantages here - size, youth and probably even talent, but it's the biggest test of his career by far - first attempt at a world title, first 5 rounder, 1 million grand prize - a lot of pressure here. Very interested to see how it all plays out.
Yeah i would consider it a pick em' with a solid and strong lean towards McKee but as you said Pitbull is live here and his power is a true equalizer. I just hope McKee doesn't get caught in a ****ing Guillotine lol.
McKee seems to be quite a bit smarter than Caldwell in the ring, who has a ton of talent and is massive at 135-145 but with horrid fight IQ. Pitbull winning would probably be due to a late KO or rallying to win the championship rounds based on experience and eeking a close decision out.
