Caldwell is a bit of a flake if you ask me. The way he lost some of his fights is just ridiculous. He's also not as technical as McKee. McKee just decent everywhere. Hard to see someone really messing around with him. He's a really good wrestler, he has some sneaky submissions in play as we saw against Caldwell and it's tough to deal with him on the feet because of his rangy style. I think stylistically he's all wrong for Pitbull but man Pitbull is just a beast. This is actually the best fight of the weekend. I also like the Belly main card more than the UFC card and now Yahya being out as the Co main against the Korean dude the UFC Main Card falling apart. We probably get de Paula vs. Buys as the co main....i mean WTF?!

 

Yeah, Pitbull/McKee is easily the best fight of the weekend. The UFC has really dropped the ball recently, these fight night cards have all been **** poor quality save for the main events. This new model is very worrying, for a long time the UFC used to put on interesting cards top to bottom, now their approach is more akin to that of boxing, which is completely unacceptable considering the monopoly they have on the sport. Boxing has been dreadful as well as of late, and while the undercards are usually weaker than MMA in general, I have noticed a strong decline the past few months. Covid is an easy excuse, but It probably doesn't explain the entire picture.

 

Well i mean the UFC still has very competitive matchups and fights and it's solid matchmaking if we look at fights like Rowe vs. Cosce, De Paula vs. Buys, Adashev vs. Benoit or Chavez vs. Kamaka. Those fights are basically pick em' fights and there are no easy fights for anyone. BUT in the end it's the UFC and those fights could be easily on a LFA or Bellator card so i don't see a reason why the UFC is so special anymore. At least we get a nice card next week with some good matchups but overall the UFC isn't doing the best job right now although some of those cards we can expect in the Autumn are just CRAZY.
