Congratulations to the Indonesian Skinny Bloke on his victory. No surprise to see someone from this part of the world win it. It's where the best boxing pundits on the planet happen to reside.

And let's not forget that @pincai had to overcome significant adversity during the course of the year in order to claim the title. I thought he was a goner when @f1ght3rz pulled out & he no longer had his picks to pilfer. How wrong I was!

After faltering slightly around that time, he steadied the ship, found a new source of picks & romped into the home straight full of running.

He was challenged briefly late by fellow podiumists @Chuck Norris & @DramaShow, but showing true championship qualities, he matched their picks throughout December & refused to let them pass. What a champ!

@Pimp C has announced his (temporary?) retirement from the comp. With top 10 finishes from each of the 8 years he has participated in it, it looks to me like he has another couple of years left in him. He only missed one pick all year.

Thank you to @Drinquor, @PinoyProdigy & of course @CST80 for all of their hard work running the comp this year. I joined in order to lobby for the inclusion of more Australian fights. Without knowing the stats, I reckon there were 10x as many as appeared in any previous year. That alone is incentive enough to do it all again this year.

 

Cheers Sandman my fellow Aussie mate. I’m probably the only Aussie who have no clue what so ever about Oz boxing landscape lol..But make no mistake, Down Under is taking over the world!!
