    2022 Lineage and Records​

    Want to challenge the champion? Just look at the champion's upcoming fight picks. If you feel a pick by the champion will be wrong, post your pick, and announce that you want to challenge for the title!

    Rules:
    - First come first serve on challenges issued
    - No stacking of challenges
    - Can not challenge a fight more than 7 days away
    - If champions change their pick after challenge has been set, they forfeit their title and it goes to the challenger who then becomes the interim champion, to fight for the vacant title against the next challenger
    - Only 1 challenge per day, although a champion can have unlimited defenses per day
    - Anyone who loses or forfeits a title fight, must wait until 3 challenges occur before they can challenge again. If no one has challenged the champion,

    (even those who have lost/forfeit/participated in the past 3 title fights) can challenge the day of the fight they are challenging (12AM est)
    - The champion should try to place their picks as soon as they can, to give the field enough time to challenge their picks.

    I rechecked everyone's picks, the scores should be correct now. But the Rankings need to be updated.

    Both Clavel and Akdeniz now have fights scheduled for January. You might as well remove those picks to tidy up the rankings page?? Going to get crazy this weekend.

    Pinoy is in 8th and I am 10th, but Pinoy has two less wins than me and the same number of losses. That doesn’t look correct.

    Chanox updates the records but doesnt move the rankings around, which is why the jumbling. Faaar will correct the order next update.

    I suspect there might still be something off about Chanox's update, Jisoo says she will be doing her own udpate a bit later on and we will see what she comes up with. Otherwise like I mentioned Ill have them update from Pinoys last update.

    Things will get sorted, no biggie.

    Gonna give a league a heads up as to some things Im contimplating to implement for 2023.

    As always, please feel free to speak up and tell me your thoughts. This league is for you guys, so it only makes sense you let me know what directions you do or dont like it going.

    Also though, I know sometimes people can oppose changes just because they are changes and its not what they are accustomed to lol.

    But regardless, let me know what you think if you feel strongly either way.

    Changes that will happen in 2023

    - If there are any duplicate last names on a schedule during a month, picks will have to have at least the fighters first name initial included in their name. This is to help prevent mistakes on updaters getting confused as to what fighter is getting picked. Most of the time the location of the name in a group of names gives away which fighter it is, but things happen, fights get postponed, predictions get changed, ect, and places can get lost... so from now on, if there are two same last names during a month, the prediction will only be counted if its being further identified by at least a first name initial.

    - In 2023, you will ultimately be responsible for making sure your record is correct after each update. I know everyone is pretty good at speaking up when they see something is off, but its just going to get put down in the rules. You will have one week from the erroring update to notify the update team that your record is wrong. If one day you see your record seems wrong but you dont know what update it happened on and it looks like it happened a month or two ago, it may or may not get fixed at that point.

    In theory, the rankings will come out, you will look over your record, and if there is something off you let the team know that day/week and they will get it fixed by the next update.
