    Just came across this post from Pinoy in 2017 or so...

    Changed the rule a little bit. Felt that those in Top 20 still care about their league records enough to not waste picks on mostly hopeless challenges to the people's champion and that any difference in picks with the champion is actually due to it being an actual pick'em fight.

    I had edited that rule out a few days ago because it didnt quite make sense to me in the moment, but I see now why it was implemented, and also why allowing anyone to partake in peoples championships changes the dynamics quite a bit. It opens the door for a bit of possible record padding to occur I suppose, as people with no reason not to can challenge on obvious losses, because they have no real stake in a loss .

    Im running out of time for today but I'll think about this.
