Good performance by Jerusalem. On his best day he could very well be the top dog at strawweight. He managed dispatch and shut down Shigeoka and Castillo, who were southpaws quite easily. His performance against Collazo was weird. He was outclassing Collazo in the first three rounds, but somehow his stamina dissipated noticeably in the following rounds. Maybe Melvin was jet lagged, since the fight was in the US. Or maybe Collazo just landed wicked body blows that took the air out of Jerusalem's lungs.

Anyway I hope he can manage to secure himself an unification bout with the other champions in the weight class. Taduran will face Dian Xing Zhu in November in South Korea. Should Taduran win, that has to be the most logical fight for both Pinoys.

Yesterday I read that supposedly Collazo and Freshmart could clash on the Saudi Latino card also in November. I'm glad to see some excitement and change in the division.
