    Btw - you're killing me, smalls. :lol: That was over an hour of effort, and well over half of that was researching British nobodies.

    I get it, the UK domestic scene can be fun to follow, and I used to do so religiously - but most boxing fans (even hardcore ones that follow the important goings-on internationally and have a thumb on the pulse of world title prospects) aren't necessarily that plugged in. Not to such an extent as watching every small hall show. Even the major ones tend normally to be on Friday afternoons our time, when most people are working. A little Boxrecing is gonna happen with a picking league for even the most passionate fans, but it should be a scant minority of fights being picked on - and something like Molloy vs. Kohlen just isn't otherwise on the radar for most. Having several of those (or even a dozen+) a month gets to be a chore...which is probably why the yearly recruitment efforts kind of stagnate. I think people are put off not just by the size of the lists but the proportion of absolute jabronies (in the grand scheme of things) fighting ten rounders for regional baubles or nothing at all.

    Yeah, I got a little carried away this time, because there were so few good matches early in the month, I started searching for anything competitive I could add. Not realizing, because I hadn't looked ahead, that the month would be that backend loaded. Also, there's been a ton of last minute cancellations, so the likelihood is, quite a few of these probably won't even take place. Still, it's only roughly 10 or so more than last month. This year has been pretty sparse and slim pickings, but yeah, I'll reel it in next month.
