@PinoyProdigy I'm not trying to steal this back from you, but after I went through January, I took a peek into February, and I started salivating, I couldn't help it. Anyway, I figured since there's a shitload of Brits that have recently joined, all the upcoming Brit fights might get them even MORE interested in the league, and give all the newbies, which seems to be more than usual extra time to mull over next month. Whittle away at my fight schedule, I don't care, although it is pretty solid.
Spoiler Warning for Get Out! Here's the gripe I need to vent about, okay I'm a huge Horror geek, like a big enough Horror geek that I scare other hardcore Horror geeks and can thoroughly school them, I have in the past, often. Anyway, I was a fan of Get Out last year, I thought it was a brilliant social satire, it did a hell of a great job lampooning PC culture and the lengths PC types will go to try to lift up cultures other than their own, to the point where they literally want to become that culture themselves. Its called cultural appropriation I believe, although I'm not sure if liberals ever actually apply that term to themselves, when ironically it usually applies to them most of all. Not sure if all the PC liberals in Hollywood got the point that the director Jordan Peele of Key & Peele fame was getting at, he basically confirmed it, he was making fun of them, not inbred hillbillies and backwoods hicks, the people in the film who were trying to literally steal black people's bodies for themselves, they were the very definition of bourgeois uppercrust liberals. That point must've have flown over their heads, if anything the film is actually almost Alt-Right in nature. And now its being touted as a possible Golden Globe and Academy Award Best Picture winner. What other film that viciously satirizes liberalism in Hollywood would be up for Best Picture contention? The fervor around this film, is actually and ironically confirming the film's thesis. So, onto my point, I like Get Out, I think its a good Horror movie, but in the end, that's all it is... just a Horror movie, most Horror movies have a subtle political or social subtext, many of which are not only better, but eons better than Get Out, and I can't help but think films like the original Dawn Of The Dead or The Exorcist or The Shining or Halloween or Psycho that were snubbed and in some cases, not even nominated at all, yet were far more deserving in the past, and because liberals miss the point of a film entirely and want to suck up to the PC crowd, they hand this good but very undeserving film those trophies, utterly ridiculous. Then to add to that, if we're going to start sucking up to genre films in awards season, then WHY THE **** WAS LOGAN AND WONDER WOMAN NOT NOMINATED? Genuinely two of the best superhero films I've ever seen, if not the best, and after all Wonder Woman winning would be far more appropriate in the year of the #metoo movement, and after the shameful year Hollywood has had in an effort to make amends give that film a few awards, even Gal Gadot was deserving of a nomination, she did a damn fine job for a former model, she forcefully carried that film. And if they nominated it or awarded it, it wouldn't necessarily be seen as them just sucking up, because most people like the film. Same goes for Logan, I agree with @lufcrazy's assessment across the board, its every bit a drama and road movie, that harkens back to the heyday of great 70's cinema, it had the feel of epic films like The Deer Hunter and great genre films like First Blood and Rocky. Its a masterpiece of a film, and is easily one of the best films of the year, yet because the Hollywood crowd doesn't actually seem to want or care to nominate films based on anything for what they at the very least perceive to be pushing an agenda they believe in, instead of actual quality, two of the very best films of the year, both of which happened to be truly GREAT genre films have been brutally snubbed in a year where a just good genre film, is getting all the praise, kind of sucks. But it is what it is, what do you expect out of a town that snubbed Kill Bill, The Aviator, The Passion Of The Christ, Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind and gave the best picture to Million Dollar Baby? Or the mere fact that they actually gave that piece of crap Crash best picture. And they wonder why people have stopped watching their dull self aggrandizing ass kissing fests called award shows.

Sure, but they aren't official yet, and at the moment they're not on Boxrec, but when they're both, then they'll be officially added.
