This is one crazy day of fights which could go either way. It wouldn't surprise me at all if the People's Championship changed hands 3 or 4 times today.

My initial argument has never changed, this is merely an extension of it. It doesn't matter whether or not assault rifles make up a small percentage of gun deaths, the importance lies in the fact that they pose such a big threat and we've already seen many instances in the US of people using assault rifles to shoot up schools. On the other hand, an extremely (And I mean extremely) low # of people using assault rifles as a means to protect themselves.

There have been studies that have shown us that Guns are RARELY used when it comes to self defense (This is an argument Pro Gun activists like to make)

We also have evidence and examples suggesting that Gun Control leads to significant decline in suicide rates as well as homicide rates. Ala Australia is a great example of this after 1996.

In Japan, we only see around 8-12 gun related deaths/year. In UK, also very low numbers.

A vast majority of gun carriers are law abiding citizens, sure, but the fact that they are so easy to get in the US opens way for a lot of opportunities for people to do harm. IMO The Cons Outweigh The Pros.

Police Brutality is a separate issue altogether.
