Anyone have the balls to go with Kucher this week? In a neutral territory I'd give him about a 50/50 chance. Definitely not in SA which is one of the most corrupt places in the world for boxing currently. The Kalenga and Nielsen decisions were disgraceful... War Kucher!

Looks like @PaddyGarcia is the only one to have gone with the Ukrainian thus far.

 

I would have more faith in Kucher if he wasn't coming off a 16 month layoff.

 

I'd have more faith in him if I didn't pick Nielsen and Kalenga to beat Larena only to get screwed over by BS hometown decisions. That's what's going against Kucher the most here. He's a solid fighter who will almost certainly turn up in good form, but will it be enough to beat the cards? I don't think so.

No way Kucher is winning, not in South Africa. We all know this, sadly. Hoping for a Kucher KO win but I haven't really seen Lerena hurt before and he's great at clinching and making the fight messy for everyone involved. I'd pick against him in a heartbeat in neutral territory, but never again in South Africa. I've already made that mistake once.
