Truax vs Degale I was a open war in a ring. The win for Truax was fully deserved but close to KO him? Sorry, i didn't see that.

as i said before i havent see traux vs degale, but if that was lesser a beatdown than parker vs joshua it must of been the most boring most unaccurate showing ever. lol

Ok, let me a bit more precise here: Joshua winning vs Parker was definitely a clearer win than Truax vs Degale. And as i wrote, the w for truax was fully deserved.

That's an excellent idea, I'm pretty sure most on here picking DeGale didn't watch the first one.

Nothing about it was a war, and watch round 5 (17:30 in) again if you want to see the near KO round, and he hurt him badly again later. I've seen British stoppages come about on far less.

A massive round for Truax, some very hard and clean shots, no question, but near a KO??? A knock out? Degale going outside as nothing happens afterwards and moving very very well, if he was near a KO then his legs would not move like they move.

He was badly hurt, DeGale is just really good at hiding it.

Depends on how honest Degale was being about that shoulder injury and/or how much he actually has left in the tank. He definitely appears to be showing the rapid decline that a lot of war torn fighters do.

Have you read how Truax's wife/girlfriend had a brain bleed days before the Direll bout?

Makes you feel for the guy, and believe in his constitution for rising up again to a level no one thought he had after the most diasterous in the ring result possible. Pretty remarkable honestly, a lot of A-Level talent could learn from the kind of honest workmanlike efforts Truax has routinely been giving over the years.

British money always moves lines in an almost surreal fashion... I remember Tony Thompson still being a substantial underdog against David Price even though he had literally just knocked the man out with a single punch a few months before. He was something ridiculous like +450 to win outright... Even bigger than you can get Truax at right now, who's sitting at +300 and above.

No I hadn't, well that probably explains his lack of focus that resulting in the KO1. I know I couldn't focus worth a damn when my sister had a brain bleed for days afterward, he probably should have pulled out of that fight.

Makes me respect him, taking the fight and not making a peep about it until years later when he's suddenly a star and everyone's actually asking questions.

I've said it before, he's not the greatest fighter in the world but he's just, well, solid. Through and through. I've been watching his bouts live since he took on Taylor years ago, always comes to fight.

Can anyone fill me in on how many supposed injuries James Degale has had as of late, or even throughout his career? What was the supposed issue the last bout with Truax?

Yeah he seems like a great guy, and so have I, that was when he first popped onto my radar as well, and like you, I loved watching him destroy Don George.
