For anyone who hasn't immersed themselves in the absolute blissfully orgasmic wonders of Italian Exploitation Cinema. Please listen to these themes alone, that's all it'll take, you'll be hooked. But warning, they're as addictive as any drug.

Pretty much the same as I, he's a little more into Hammer, Westerns and art films than Italian horror or King Fu flicks.

What's your opinion on Classic Hollywood late 20'sto 50's? Because I'm a devotee of that as well.

I love seven samurai. It took me like two years until I settle my mind to watch it because ... in 21st century to see a 3+ hours black&white movie in Japanese doesn't sound fun at first.. :D But I don't regret any minute of that movie, I would watch it thousand times. First 20-30 minutes are kinda slow but after that I was kinda mindblown.

Yo CST have you made out a list of your top TV shows of all time on here? I am a bit of a newb when it comes to watching TV, seen bits of lots of shows but sitting down to watch a show is a bit of a chore. I've Breaking Bad and The Wire polished off, the latter probably being the best thing I've ever seen on a screen. I'm watching Dexter atm and like it so far after nearly finishing season 1. Any recommendations for me based on those sort of shows? I guess The Sopranos would be the next logical move.

Luckily I already did some lists in Lounge before, so I don't have to make any new ones. A word of warning, Season 4 of Dexter is so great, that the 5th season will pale in comparison to it, but I implore you, stick with it, just go into the 4th expecting it to be brilliant, and then expect the show to drop back down to season 2 & 3 level. I think a lot of people set expectations far too high after the 4th, which may be the greatest season in the history of television shows, and they let the rest of the show not living impossibly up to that ridiculously high standard sadly ruin it for them. Set your expectations correctly, and you'll love the show from start to finish like I did, its definitely worth following through to the end.

I hate Kelsey Grammar. I find him repellent, never even liked him on Cheers, and add to that I can';t stand David Hyde Pierce either.

I didn't include Twin Peaks because IMO it was a miniseries. I bailed on The Leftovers after about 5 episodes, Deadwood is solid, but I haven't seen all of them, like I said I missed The Wire, but I have been meaning to get to it.

Oz was great, but I haven't seen nearly enough episodes to include it.

Freaks And Geeks slipped under my radar at the time, been meaning to watch it. I will eventually.

The sitcoms you listed, way too hipsterish for me.

Seven Samurai is astonishing, it laid the groundwork for every action and western that followed since. I could recommend countless 3 hour B&W movies that will equally blow your mind, and same goes for Kurosawa and Mifune collabs, and I will later, but I can't take the time at the moment.

Interesting observation to me anyway. Kurosawa and Mifune, years after I became a huge fanboy of theirs, I found out that not only one of them, but both of them were Aries with Virgo Moons, just like me.:D So their pairing was kind of.... kismet. Maybe that's why I've always sympathized with barbarians and samurai warriors, I was born that way.
