The KD's against Omatoso (who can crack) and Abraeu weren't particularly hard. In fact, the Abreau KD was more slip/off-balance and could easily have been waived off. In both cases, he got up and made the fights competitive enough to get the decision. Plus, James looked better in general against Chaves than he's done in the past.

I think Ramos is getting overrated here...much like Chaves was. And I think we're looking at a similar result this evening.

 

Change to Ramos KO, hes fought some decent opposition and held his own. however the bookies have james a big favourite. hmmm, i wanna take a risk but i am unsure.

You might be right, I just have a feeling. You have to remember Ugas, just like Ramos, was a 140 pounder moving up in weight when he defeated James. He was also inactive for over two years before taking that bout with James.

I feel like it's likely to be a close fight, like almost all of James fights are... Because James does not use his height nor does he box. Compare the quality of the two's opposition in the past 4 years, it's light and day.

 

Does anyone like heroic bloodshed/John Woo/bullet ballet movies? I've been something of a huge fan ever since I rented imports of Hard Boiled and the Killer from Blockbuster back in the late 90's...

I'm actually a huge star wars fan. I love the concept behind it, I'm not even talking about the good Vs evil or the Skywalker's or even Vader, I'm talking about the universe it's set in. My kindle contains two series of books: Nick Stone and Star Wars. I've read so many star wars books, mainly the ones that Disney decree as canon because other stories will end up getting ready written I imagine. But Bane's trilogy and Plagueis are books I love.

This caught up on the love of Luke as an incorruptible hero, I get why they're betrayed. Those who admire the Jedi folklore, I get what they hate the way Rey became a master Jedi in 3 days. But for me I actually loved the consequences of those betraying acts. The fact that even the galaxies greatest hero can give up. The fact that the force is such a powerful and unpredictable force it can connect with a complete nobody. I love the development of the story arc in that the Empire was defeated but another force came in it's absence (well those who read the books know that isn't the case, and that the first order was actually the contingency plan of Palpatine). I love how Snoke is just another sith lord betrayed by his apprentice because the list of those hungry for power goes back millenniums. More than anything else I love that it's another story to be told in this wonderful universe. It all adds to depth of story thus far and I don't care that people feel characters should have behaved in different ways, because this is this story and this is how it is.

I mean if Snoke would have been the biggest Sith Lord in history how would we explain the way he did whilst Palpatine rules the galaxy? If Rey does not become a powerful force wielder the resistance is crushed in the cave. If Luke never gave up hope then what does that say about those who do have dark moments? Nah screw the haters I loved it.
