I won't quit, but I'm definitely making some adjustments, I need badly to detach myself from the drug like rush I get from picking an upset, I'm so good at it, that I crave them all the more, so instead of looking at what's probable that no one but me is seeing, I tend to see what's possible, and go in on a wing and a prayer with my fingers crossed. So from here on out, any time I'm uncomfortable and my gut is telling me to go with the safe pick I'm doing it. The only time my gambles pay off is when I have a sense of serenity, if there's chaos in my head and too much dialogue going on up there, its usually what I want to see happen trying to overpower my logic, which is a huge pain in the ass.

Goddammit, I need to become a advisor to fighters or trainers on the proper strategy to employ, or at the very least a motivational speaker, because a lot of what I see that's possible could become probable outcomes, if only some of these guys believed in themselves a little more, like with my Donaire and Broner picks yesterday. The fact is, they're both still capable of competing at the highest level of the sport, if only they believed in themselves a little more, Donaire should have come into the ring yesterday intent on being the boss, believe in his power and his chin, and get the job done, because as much as I like Frampton, he's not on Nonito's level, and the few times Nonito turned it on, he proved it yesterday. Same goes for Broner, had he came into the fight and let his hands go early, that would hae made Vargas more apprehensive, and vulnerable late, but all of these losses have made Broner doubt his abilities, the man has lost to Porter, Maidana and Mikey, who are all P4P fighters, no shame there, he should have realized that, and had more faith in his speed, power, chin and accuracy a little earlier and he would have won that yesterday.

So like I said to begin with... its not what I see as possible, which there's always a grain of truth to, a la Povetkin-Price, but go with what I think is probable as the safe bet. So when I think the upset is probable, then and only then go with it.

And thanks for the kind words on the article, I should have listened to my gut on Malikov-Yordan, I was the first to bring that possible upset up, but the bedlam of yesterday made me gunshy.:BangHead:

Yeah, you have to shoot us in the head with a shotgun to stop us, unlike Libras like Rigo.:sisi1 And MVC, another knee taking quitter.

Thankfully you and Kiwiman are dominated by Scorpio, that overcomes the vacillating tendencies of Libra. So you're good.:D

Yep, exactly. From a statistical point of view, even if the entire league picks fighter A when it's really only a 55-45 or 60-40, the correct decision is still to pick fighter A even though most are underrating fighter B badly. It's pretty tempting to go for the upset though.

@PinoyProdigy I edited in Lubkovich vs. Mayfield, we still have 5 full days, and it would be a sin to leave off what should be a league splitter. And I added on the same day Santillan vs. Barboza for a title, IB is high on this match, enough to do a thread on it, just in case. Keep that one or not?

And should I add Andoni Gago vs. Geoffrey Dos Santos?
