Yeahhhhh to this day I support Quentin and his films are the only films I've gone to in years. You need to stop being such a little provocative **** ant about everything. I know we're in "your home" dawg. Maybe you should **** all over your surroundings like a dog to establish superiority in the conversation?

Speakig Of Hark, solid director, like everything I've seen of his, but nothing is a one punch KO brilliant film. His best movies are movies he produced and others directed.

Answer my question, would you choose to only watch Quentin or only watch Kurosawa movies? I think we all know the answer, and there's no contest. Yes sometimes enjoying a film, is more important than a film's historical significance or "greatness", the fact is Citizen Kane, Touch Of Evil even Gone With The Wind, are "great" films, that no one can stomach sitting through. Kurosawa's films are great, and can be sat through, but there's nothing he's ever made that anyone has a deep heartfelt abiding, I can't do without love for.

Does that have anything to do with how passive aggressive and insane you are in every conceivable facet of conversation on here?

Who's the one being passive aggressive Russell? That would be you, I'm not the one who attacked your list am I? I asked you a simple question, and you cannot answer it, which.... gun to your head... director's films would you want to watch if you had to choose only one?

It's fairly obscure, don't know if it's a easily available flick actually. I have a copy but I went out of my way to get it.

Incredibly violent and nihilistic. It's fantastic.

You asked for criticism on the list, if I'm remembering correctly.

You completely fail to mention Kurosawa could also do a masterwork of a 100 minute film, like he did with Drunken Angel. I would watch that movie any day over even my most favorite Tarantino flick, if someone was going to make me pick favorites.

And I wasn't being aggressive actually, just don't agree! I was under the impression I didn't have to ****ing agree with you on much of anything, boss!

Quit projecting, and quit being touchy and overly sensitive. I put the :ggg after saying I'm calling you out, and that was meant to be tongue in cheek. You miss my nuances way too much.

What's length have to do with anything?

Drunken Angel, that's great, so that's 1 film, name another. I'm ranking on body of work, and when it comes to truly great films, Kurosawa made his fair share of average films, some that are borderline unwatchable, I know, I've slogged through a few, try watching Red Beard or High & Low twice, you'd hang yourself. Quentin has yet to make anything that isn't compulsively watchable.

Stop being so damn snippy... boss.:deal: I am being light hearted here, remember, I come across harsh, even when I don't intend to, its a reoccurring theme in my life.

You know, when groups of people start saying you're being a passive douche bag and or the opposite of light hearted, in real life & on here, the problem might actually just not be in everyone's head...

I love how I state that I had a borderline impossible time raking my Top 40, and wish it could be a 40 way time almost, and here I am being made out to be a hater of Kurosawa, when I'm probably one of his most devout fanboys, certainly on this site.

    I can't ****ing win.:hang

The only one being a passive douche here is you. There's nothing passive about me, I'm full on aggression. Get it straight. I say what I mean. And you react like a crybaby.

Let's have a douchebag off, I can guarantee you'd take that one by a ****ing country mile.

What group of people are calling me a passive douchebag anyway? I said its been a pattern with people, as in, occasionally people take me the wrong way, most seem to get my nuances fine. Like most of the people on the site. I'm very sorry that you don't. I wish you did, because I genuinely like you more than most.

I asked for people's opinions, and here you come and basically insult me, and say, what are you a shithead, you pick Spielberg, Coppola and Tarantino, 3 ridiculously highly regarded brilliant directors, that almost no one on planet earth has a bad thing to say about over another all time great Kurosawa, what a maniac you are, bwah ha ha ha.:dunno Speaking of tone, your tone doesn't come across very well most of the time either.

Before you accuse me, take a look at yourself.
