Anyone else like action movies with badass female leads?

Not really tbh. Most of my favorite bullet ballet and Hong Kong action flicks don't have female leads. That being said Cynthia Rothock was pretty badass. Her choreography was solid not just for a woman but compared to a lot of her western male counterparts at the time.

 

The entire long running In The Line of Fire series was fantastic and all have strong female leads. Angel Terminator is another obscure series with good female leads.

Don't get me wrong, I'll take a John Woo or Tsui Hark flick any day but I do enjoy seeing females who know how to throw a punch, a kick, and how to bump like a real action movie actor.

 

Yeah it's just rare that they impress me. I don't have any personal qualms or insecurities/issues liking them, but on the same note I'm not going to like them just for the sake of it(as I think is a tendency with fans - i.e neckbeards) The stuff you've mentioned is pretty solid though.

 

Guess I'm a neckbeard then.

 

Surprised so many people are on Inoue by way of knockout in the first five. I personally think he has a far trickier issue at hand than most think.

 

I'm not sure on the exact numbers of posters picking Inoue by decision as opposed to stoppage, but I'm legitimately curious on the reasoning of people picking Inoue by early stoppage? Is the significant weight and height advantage not going to partially be responsible for how this fight plays out?

 

McDonnell has fought three rounds in ~18 months. I don't know how much he has left against sb. like Inoue. He already said he will retire soon. Probably after the fight if he gets stopped badly.

I would not overrate the height difference here. Boyeaux also was the much bigger guy and fought @ Bantamweight before and Inoue completly destroyed him within three rounds.

I really think Inoue will slow McDonnell down early with some nasty bodys shots and then take him out in the middle of the fight.
