Ugh, I ****ing hated that movie, I prefer Elysium and Chappie to it actually, by a mile. More agenda driven SJW nonsense.
District 9 was great, reminded me a lot of the scathing satirical bits and ultra violence of Robocop... I really felt like that guy was tapping into a Veheroven (sp) type of vein there for a while.
There's SJW nonsense in most big blockbuster flicks, at least the movie was well done. District 9 was far from amazing but it's better than the overrated and overproduced crap that Cameron put out at the same time.
Any idea why it's taken like 10 years for Avatar II to come out? Seems like the hype has all but passed, but I guess you can never count out the viewing publics gullibility. I can't imagine how they're going to remake the wheel with their Pochontos in space routine another 3 or 4 times...
