Damn.... Ive had a bad week

Got into an altercation in which I got sucker punched... split my top lip open... requiring stitches. As the cops were coming I grabbed my stuff but forgot to grab my phone, so I lost that... and that has an unfathomable amount of content I needed on it.

Passwords to crypto sites with large sums of crypto

15,000 and plus pictures... including images Ive spent countless hours creating

Two and a half years worth of quotes saved (I'm a philosophy/wisdom geek)

And two years of personal notes of various importance

About 300 tabs open of various pages I wanted to go through (they pile up over time lol)

Losing that damn phone sucks so bad.... damn... damn damn damn.

Damn.

Then I have to figure out what I plan on doing with the guy that got me.

I look forward to when this week is a distant memory

After graduation from the seminary, the priest serves for roughly one year as a transitional deacon. It typically takes five years from college graduation to ordainment, provided the priest has studied philosophy at the undergraduate level." Priests have to know this stuff. Laypeople, not so much. It's not important for everybody to understand the doctrine of transubstantiation, or sola scriptura vs sola fides. Most people get the basic minimum education necessary to save their souls then are told there's more to learn if you want to.

Such a well said and interesting post, and yet I disagree so strongly.

I would love to have a conversation about this if you're open to it. Not in attempt to win a debate... But in attempt to add a perspective to our mind (meaning, I'd like to know more about your perspective and your responses to certain beliefs/ideas would help me with that)

Just as a brief simplified preface , I think that religion in general, as far as the main three go (Judaism, Christianity and Islam) is counter productive to humanities progress in multiple areas and in multiple ways, and needs to be actively countered.

You seem very well versed in the area and I'd love to learn more...
