Buthelezi using the jab, countering well, and clinching when necessary. Fernandez didn’t land enough, but tried to pick up the pace late in the round. Buthelezi slipped many of the punches.

Thanks Pinoy. To be honest I thought Kuga was gonna stop Wake in an action packed fight, but decided that it would have been lame to vacate the belt after such a lengthy reign.

 

Fernandez gave it all he had in the 12th round and had Buthelezi hurt but wasn’t able to get him down. Fernandez wins round 12, but Buthelezi survives the onslaught and it should be a comfortable unanimous decision for him. I have it:
