Cesar Miguel Barrionuevo won't face Abel Ramos this week, but instead he will now face Yordenis Ugas on the Garcia vs Porter card.

 

That's a good fight, much better than the cancelled bout.

Don't know, I think there was a much higher chance of a real slugfest breaking out with the first scheduled bout. Ugas is a very good fighter, very technical with a good punch and lots of durability and skills, but he fights in a very measured manner at times. I think he's going to put a clinic on the very limited Ramos, and potentially get ahead in the fight and then just cruise under heavy but ineffective pressure.

I watched a lot of tape on Ramos before he fought James, I was pretty high on the kid and had a bet on him but James outboxed him and knocked him down a few notches in my mind. Unless he's improving at a damn fast clip he's in trouble here.

 

Hmmm I'm a bit confused, the new fight is Barrioneuvo vs Ugas, and Ramos is left without an opponent.

 

Ah. My mistake. My point stands though. There's less chance of a real slugfest now and Ugas is probably going to completely outclass him. I think Barrionuevo and Ramos are closer in ability.
