It's got a lower rating than the transformers movies over at imdb.

The last Star Wars I genuinely enjoyed was Return of the Jedi. It's been about seven bad ones in a row and I'm out, just like with the DC movies.

I couldn't see what everyone saw in District 9 either.

I do like Mel Gibson's acting. He should have won an Academy Award for his phone calls to his ex.

Oh yeah.

It is amazing. Jeremy Irons is stupendous. And for the time, the 80s, it has the production value and cinematography of a really good movie. You don't see that with television for another twenty years until Band of Brothers.

It's basically the same film as Sicario. Just watch the shootout on youtube.

It was kind of derivative of Inception, but I enjoyed it as a simple popcorn movie.

Yeah, I mostly needed to fill out the list. But that part where they are on two trains riding horses through the passenger cabins and shooting out the windows at each other was pretty cool.

I really liked this one, thought it was special, and didn't understand why it got no love. I'm definitely going to read the book eventually since it's a modern masterpiece. But the movie was so good on it's own. I loved how it split the narrative into six different genres taking place across different locations and times, but reusing the same themes and characters.

Same, but the second and third were just cartoony and awful.

Oh dude, that might be my favorite film of this century. As for 13 Assassins, it's Miike's take on 7 Samurai, but the body count is way higher and they build a whole town full of elaborate booby traps.

2002: Jet Li's Hero and, to a lesser extant 2004: House of Flying Daggers warrant mention in any best of list, imo. I loved Hero, in particular and consider it to be this generation's answer to Rashamon.

1. Gangs Of New York - Really hated this, but the visuals were awesome, and I enjoyed Daniel Day-Lewis' acting.

5. The Importance Of Being Earnest - not sure I saw this version but I love the play

10. Frida - I think I saw this, or part of it. Not as good as the directors other film Titus.
