I think that'd the 2nd time this year where I've been kicked out of first due to the person behind me missing a pick. I can take getting a crap shoot fight wrong, but that's pretty damn infuriating.

 

but i would of been ahead by about maybe 3-4 if i didnt miss all these picks, i missed a few very easy picks in a weekend, this one was due to not getting to my computer on time, not intentional mate.

can you tell me why all these Filipino Light flyweights are southpaws?

My guess is that they want to emulate Manny Pacquiao's style........or there are just a lot of left handed people in the Philippines.

 

Manny is probably a big reason although there were already more southpaw Filipino world champions than orthodox before Manny truly made it big. It's very interesting. Maybe there are just more left-handers in the Philippines lol.

The Heno-Espinas card will be shown on the Games and Amusements Board facebook page tomorrow starting around 4AM EST.

This is a 50/50 fight. I've seen both guys and Espinas is the faster and stronger fighter. Heno also has good pop and he'll have the height and reach advantage. Both guys also have decent boxing skills but Heno has the edge in that department.

Heno will be fighting at home. He is a native of San Pedro, Laguna and his promoter will be promoting the card. Espinas is no stranger fighting on the road, with his best win coming in Thailand against a then-undefeated Pai Pharob (32-0) in 2016. This is also Espinas' second straight fight in Laguna, beating Binan City, Laguna fighter Lester Abutan IN Binan City during his last outing to retain the country's light flyweight championship.

There has been a lot of belief and hype surrounding Heno within the Philippine boxing circles due to his knockout of fellow undefeated prospect Cris Ganoza, his draw (apparently a robbery) and knockout win against Ogido in Japan, and his decisive but poorly scored split decision win against former world champ Merlito Sabillo. It's almost like the fighter that had 4 previous draws against subpar opposition never existed. Espinas' current run also shouldn't be ignored. A knockout of Pharob in Thailand, a stoppage win against Joey Canoy who is looking like a legit prospect right now and great domestic wins against very good spoilers in Lito Dante and Lester Abutan. I currently have Espinas as my pick but I could see myself switching to Heno due to the his current momentum last minute.
