The fact that you somehow think Trump and his supporters are religious nuts, proves you literally have no ****ing clue as to what you're talking about.

Since your understanding of Trump and US politics in general is so beyond immature and myopic, let me repost this, since you probably missed it the first time. Try to actually read it, you might actually learn something.

I'm aiming this directly at some of the non-American posters.

Let me clarify a few commonly held misnomers about the Republican Party, not because I'm a fan or a defender of theirs, but because I think that many don't realize this, because all they see are cliched stereotypes that Hollywood and the media try to paint the GOP as. And I love to disentangle ****, and make it easier to comprehend.

Most Republicans are painted as frothed mouthed gun toting country club Mr. Money Bags Evangelicals. Which is an accurate description of some, but not close to all.

There's a lot of different under reported factions that really should get more attention.

We have the...

Neoconservatives - They're old school Democrats, many of them Socialists, that turned on the Left due to their pro-war leanings, got increasingly conservative and joined the party in the 70's and 80's and decided to push for Trotsky's theory of worldwide Permanent Revolution, only now of the Capitalist variety, with a very large helping of hegemonic imperialism thrown in for good measure. They're trash, I ****ing hate them.

Paleoconservatives - They tend to be more traditionalist when it comes to family, religion, culture etc. They're limited government regulation and anti-social engineering, but at the same time, they tend to be very anti-interventionist, nativist, nationalist and protectionist, which separates them from old school Libertarians. Goldwater was one of their inspirations. Sanders economically shares a few positions with them.

Moderate Republicans - They tend to basically be slightly more right wing Democrats, they're what they sound like, not far Right, but slightly Right of center. Most of them fall in line with the Right, when they need them, they're spineless. They have moderate views on social issues, but cave rather quickly, but stick to their guns on their conservative views on war and the economy, they're also known as cuckservatives.

Rockafeller Republicans - They're quite similar to moderate Republicans, but more East Coast in overall vibe, and far more Liberal and lenient on social issues, and center Right on the economy, they can go both ways on foreign policy, Giuliani, Chris Christie and yes, Donald Trump (80/90's version) would fit snugly into this category. They're easily my favorites.

The Christian Right - They're the crackpots, the new Puritans, the God Hates ***s types, the crazy anti-abortion types, not all of them are that extreme, but I'm not very fond of them to say the least. George W. was a hybrid of this group and the neocons.

Libertarians - They're the ultimate hands off types, they're basically Anarchists, they're anti-regulation, pro open border, virulently pro-free speech, anti-war, liberal on social issues, pro-LGBT/abortion/gay marriage/weed etc. They're Far Right on the economy, and non social engineering and pro-gun, can be conspiracy theory minded.

So the GOP when controlled by Bush/W./Cheney they drug the party into a weird amalgamation of the Christian Right mixed with Neoconservatism and Moderate to Conservative Republican. They're basically war mongering religious corporatists. Most are quite despicable.

But.. something happened after Bush got out of office, there was the Tea Party revolution, which split the party into a ton of all of those factions, and created a few weird and wild hybrids along the way, many of the Tea Party were Paleoconservatives who hated the neocons, but there were a lot of Libertarians that didn't like either side, so they splintered and became even more ideologically disparate, and fell apart since they didn't have a coherent or cohesive narrative.


So... out of the ashes arose Donald J. Trump, a former Democrat/Rockafeller Republican, he hasa disdain for the Neocons, and doesn't really care for the Religious Right, while not a Libertarian, he leans that way on some social issues, and while not a Paleoconservative, he leans that way occasionally, primarily in regards to the Nationalist/anti-war/protectionist/limited regulation and tends to be quite anti-Corporatist.

So... the rotten GOP were basically Christian Right Neocon Corporatists.

Trump is a Libertarian/Paleoconservative/Rockafeller Republican/Centrist hybrid. Which is why he's appealing to some on the Left as well.

Got it? I hope this helped explain the differences a little, and clarify why the country is torn to pieces.

Trump has basically taken the best parts of the Republican Party, and combined it with the best most Populist working class parts of the Democratic Party, got most of them on his side, and has brilliantly triangulated leaving both sides completely befuddled as to how to run against him and compete with him as this hybrid monster that he is, an in the process, driven them all completely ****ing insane, its great.

 

Once again, you duck anything I write of substance, just like you ducked my post on tariffs, you ****ing LIGHTWEIGHT. You don't even want to try to hang with me, because you know the only thing that awaits is desecration. You're a coward.

 

I wreck your argument, you haul ass, don't respond and hide. Because you can't, its as simple as that LIGHTWEIGHT. Facts and logic, you're not ABOOT that life are you? Emotions drive you, just like your soyboy girlfriend Trudeau eh?
