I do, I've always thought Porter would have his number, and don't worry, I won't switch at the last minute on this one and screw you over, I've had years to mull this one over.

Yeah I do think there is a good chance Ugas's winning streak may end on saturday. :chuck:

Yeah, I think we might get a situation like what happened with Cano and Marcelino Nicolas Lopez, Lopez can KO most if they're willing to trade with him, same applies to Barrionuevo., and Ugas is usually more than willing to trade, he's not your typical slick Cuban fighter.

Yeah, that one.... I'm not so sure about. I think Martin has very underrated power, just because AJ stopped him in two, everyone sells him short and writes him off, but in the past, he's specialized in devouring come forward punching bags like Kownacki, and remember, this is AJ that stopped Martin we're talking about here, its not like he's some featherfist with no skill. But the big variable is, how good is Kownacki's chin, sure he took Szpilka's power for a few rounds, but Szpilka's power isn't extraordinary and neither is Kiladze, who's a former Cruiserweight, but if Kownacki can take his power, he may stop Martin late, if he can't take his power, he's toast.

If Kownacki could track down the slippery southpaw Szpilka in 4 than I see no reason how he's not going to touch up Martin, and early. I don't see how the very shaky looking Martin wins that sort of fight.

Szpilka is a top 15 guy, Martin has looked like a destroyer against a very specific lever of fighter and has never legitimately beaten a top fighter, whether it's a cruiserweight or a heavyweight. We don't have a lot to go off for this fight but I think Kownacki has already operated at a similar level to what he'll need to win this fight, where as Martin has always **** the bed.

Just my thoughts though. IMHO a lot of it is going to depend on whether or not Kownacki shows up in decent shape.

Or you could make an argument that Szpilka has always been chinny as hell and was coming off of an injury and a year long layoff after a brutal KO loss, and Kownacki followed that performance up by taking longer to stop a Kiladze with the flu than Hunter who was moving up from Cruiserweight and not a huge puncher did, and he was in against a healthy Kiladze.

Kownacki is a punching bag BUT he has a granite chin. Martin has to proove if he has the power as he only stopped glass chinned bums and old & shot fighters.

The problem is Martin can't take those punches and doesn't like to be pressured. He clearly is anxious getting hit. This is crucial. Kownacki will go forward and will make Martin quit at some point. Maybe Martin can catch Kownacki with a big left, it's possible of course, we are talking about HW boxing.

And btw, Szpilka is no Top 15 HW. He has no power and a glass chin. He can box, agree with that, but that isn't enough.

Hunter is a phenomenal talent that had twice as much success against Usyk than Gassiev did. In my opinion, Hunter has already shown (Especially if you want to factor in his amateur credentials) that he's operating on a higher level than Martin.

Martin is just a big lump in my opinion. He hits hard, and being southpaw is a natural advantage but he's just one of those fighters that comes along every few years, like a David Rodriguez, that isn't the sum of their parts and who is flattered by their success against C-Level and below competition.

Szpilka doesn't hit hard? Did you miss him getting the first ever amateur or pro knockdown counted against Guinn? That's a feat in itself. 15 KO's in 21 wins means you can hit just fine. His chin and stamina/consistency is his biggest shortcoming.

Not saying that couldn't happen, but I'm gambling here, I think Martin hits harder than advertised, and Kownacki's chin isn't as good as advertised. We'll see. I had faith in Martin before, clearly to go from fighting bums to Anthony Joshua is a tad too big of a step up, but to be honest, I think Kownacki is a bum level fighter that caught Szpilka at the right time. And yeah Hunter is a phenomenal talent, but it doesn't mean he hits all that hard., he landed about as much leather on Kiladze that Kownacki did, and he put him down quicker. Who knows, I could be completely off the mark, but fingers crossed, I hope not.
