Can someone explain to me why so many people think the Helenius/Teper fight is going to be a tenious SD sort of affair?

Teper has shown top tier power multiple times, against Price, breaking Rogan's jaw in about a minute... He's a bit plodding with his execution and durable fighters like Duhaupas are able to go with the flow and ride things out but that was never an ability Helenius had in his wildest dreams. He's a big stiff guy who used to be able to punch but now more or less just went 1-1 with a 10-16 fighter.

How is a Helenius with no teeth going to keep Teper off of him? He can dictate terms and box with the 10-16 guys of the world but Teper is a different story, even if he isn't a legitimate top 10 heavyweight himself.

I picked Teper UD wide, I agree with most of your analysis but I suspect Teper will be happy to cruise to a UD win instead of pushing for the KO. I did consider the KO for the reasons you consider, but there's also Whyte-Helenius, Whyte was unable to catch Helenius and stop him. Also Teper was probably on something in the past, not sure he's the same or even has the same power.

Whyte is shorter than Teper isn't he? He always seems to be reaching against the bigger guys he faces. I think that might have figured into why Helenius was able to spoil his way to a decision, the fact that Whyte had to lob all those power punches upwards. They tend to lose power that way. Or so boxing commentators have assured me over the years.

How much do you guys know about JJ McDonagh? I know he caused a big upset over a china chinned prospect back in 2016 but outside of that he's lost every time he's ever stepped up. I'm in the process of watching his bout again Schiller Hyppolite, which was a close decision that I've heard may of been bull****.

Just trying to figure out if Eubank is going to beat this guy up bad enough to stop it within 8 and a half rounds, basically.....

I don't know all that much about JJ McDonagh, all I remember is the upset of Jake Ball who's decent but has chin problems.

From the little I've seen he seems pretty tough, but should be outclassed, outworked and pulled out at some point - no point taking a ton of punches when it's not particularly competitive. If I have to pick it I'd say this happens before 8.5 rounds than after, but I'd only be about 60% sure.

Never saw the narrow bout with Schiller I'm guessing?

The over under is 7.5, I was being literal when I said eight and a half.

I like your numbers, and think they're about accurate. Anything to take the sting off paying all that juice... it's like Kuzmin/Price last week. Kuzmin to win by KO was -375, the under 4.5 was actually +100! Lost a few MMA bets last weekend but definitely hit that Price line hard.

It's just so hard sometimes with over/unders. Another example is Jamal Herring a few weeks ago against Moralde. Moralde has been known to fade and get stopped just in the recent past, never a hard worker or trainer from all accounts. But all of a sudden someone that should be able to stop a guy that turned pro at flyweight can't and has to settle for a 100-90 3x scorecard wipe out. Jamal had just looked tenacious and aggressive since starting to move down in weight, his stoppage of the very durable Juan Pablo Sanchez had me convinced. /Rant :hang
