I watched that and both Bykhautsou fights. But I lacked the crystal ball that you apparently have and didn't expect Helenius' power to return when it was nowhere to be seen in his last 2 fights.

Yeah, it did with me, I had one of my epiphanies this morning, let me enjoy it for a second would you? Teper has always had a questionable chin, Oluokon came within an inch of KOing him cold, Price probably would have had he actually landed anything, but his poor form and equally poor stamina as of late, then when you add in barely scraping by Lazaridis on points and being dropped hard late, then Lazaridis follows that up by himself being KO'd by a Cruiserweight. That told me that Teper was a little further gone than Helenius. Also I thought Robert might have used the two fights with the journeyman, who's not easy to KO for the record, to get his conditioning up, he probably needed that, since of course he's going to train better for a guy like Teper who he's fighting in his backyard and he'll probably need a KO to win. He rocked Whyte, as well, that also proved to me the power could still be there.

I mean. You pick the underdog all the time. Of course it's going to be right sometimes  In all seriousness. Credit for the win. But don't pretend that it was a forgone conclusion that Helenius would win and by KO. That's just being intellectually dishonest.

Of course it wasn't, but nothing ever is in this sport. Tbh I haven't been studying matches and going all out doing research, you know that, my mind has been a million miles away, the only match I researched lately was Taconing-Paras, which almost came true, since Paras had him out on his feet for an entire round. Anyway I decided to sit down and take this one seriously, and all the thoughts that I posted above came to me, which made me without hesitation make the switch.

Also most of my recent losses haven't been me just picking the underdog, Martin came within a round of drawing, Palicte got shafted, Avagyan got shafted, Price was doing well against the overrated Kuzmin, Povetkin was doing really well against the overrated AJ, GGG won, and Groves was shutting out Smith. I've just had bad luck. I won't say that Kimura got shafted, but goddammit, it could have been a draw, just one more round on that one judges card.

Ok fair enough. I had similar thoughts save for the TKO but the risks I took recently all backfired and thus I decided to stay away from this one(In Finland I'd have probably jumped on Helenius UD). Helenius winning wasn't a shocker but the way he went about it was definitely surprising. I told a few people like @theanatolian in PM that I thought Helenius would do enough to shade a decision but probably too negative to get the nod in Germany. Which might have well been the case if he didn't stop Teper then and there. Interested in what the judges cards were at the time if the stoppage.

    Thanks for the summary Chuck.
Isn't the Koura fight should be a 10-9 for me?

thats not bad luck lol thats poor picking, these fighters getting whooped! lol smith just done what he was meant to against groves hes not the superior boxer but a stronger/fresher bigger fighter no luck involved smith hurt him and stopped him, groves wanted none of it, povetkin was battered and couldnt really complain as joshua was breaking him down with the body jab from round 3 i think. Price was always going to get KO'd, lets be honest. Dont forget tonight kebab man knocked him out viciously. not even close man. these arent 4rounders, these are 12round fights. the others you may a point, i havent seen the fights.

119-109; 120-108 and the third score I have not heard but Sergio Garcia DU Maxime Beaussire. Sergio Garcia is the new EBU champion Superwélter. Congratulations to Sergio, that every time he meets a major opponent is pulling ahead with outstanding

Hey... Price and Povetkin are the very definition of guys that could land a lucky punch.:deal::lol: I was this close to switching to Callum though when I saw how ****ing big he was next to Groves, I was literally seconds away from making the Chuck Norris last minute switch, but I'm a Groves fanboy, and couldn't bring myself to do it.:ohno

I had those urges on the Smith and Helenius fights(more so the latter I was fairly confident in Groves TBH) as well. In fact I don't regret the Groves pick one bit. I still say he was the better fighter even while looking off his game, he threw that one away if you ask me. Then again.... Those urges can **** one over just as much, I wonder what's the win/loss ratio for last minute changes in the league? That would be an interesting graphic!

Im sick of hearing about pricey lol, He has never pulled a great punch out of the bag when hes needed too, He fights scared most of the time, yeh hes a nice guy but its about time people say it how it is. he could have ko'd hammer but he let him off the hook, he could of jumped on povetkin but worried that world would fall out of his ass if he went for the kill, he couldnt stop a very old TT, even after knocking him down. The reason is because he has such little confidence in his conditioning, For a big puncher hes an absolutely terrible finisher! when people get up, priceys balls shrink to the size of his tiny eyes. he just see's visions of Tony the tiger again and again, Oh and Visions of Hammer, oh and visions of povetkin. the man is finished. Kuzmin who looks very overated right now would definitely 100% knocked pricey out, if prices bicep ''injury'' hadnt happened before.
